Every Githerments garment is made, packed, and shipped from our studio in Queensland, Australia. Because many of our pieces are handmade to order or one of a kind, dispatch times may vary.
Processing Times:
Ready-to-Ship Items:
- Ready-to-ship garments will generally be dispatched within 3 to 5 business days of purchase.
Made-to-Order Garments:
- Made-to-order pieces are created especially for you. Estimated production times will be listed on the relevant product page and may vary depending on garment complexity and current order volumes.
Commissioned Pieces:
- Commission timelines are discussed and agreed upon individually. Timeframes may vary depending on the scope of the project, material availability, and customer approvals.
If we anticipate any significant delays, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Shipping Locations
At this time, Githerments ships within Australia only.
If international shipping becomes available in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed before payment is completed.
Tracking
Where available, orders will be sent with tracking.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.
Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times are estimates only and begin once your order has been dispatched.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on:
- your location;
- seasonal postal volumes;
- weather events;
- public holidays; and
- carrier delays outside our control.
We cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Risk and Ownership
- Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided in your order.
- Ownership of the goods passes to you once full payment has been received.
Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your shipping details are correct before completing your order.
If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be resent.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
While we take great care in packaging and dispatching every order, once a parcel has been handed to the shipping carrier, delivery is outside our control.
If your parcel appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will assist you in lodging an enquiry with the carrier.
Damaged Parcels
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us via the Contact Us page within 24 hours of receipt with:
- Your order details
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographic evidence of the damage
We will assess the situation and, if deemed eligible, arrange for a replacement, repair, or refund.
Sustainable Packaging
In keeping with our commitment to thoughtful making, we aim to use compostable, recycled, or recyclable packaging wherever possible. Packaging materials may vary from time to time as we continue to improve our environmental practices. This commitment forms part of Githerments' broader sustainability approach.
Every order is packed by hand in our Queensland studio. We take care with each parcel because we know it carries more than a garment. It carries a story, and we want it to arrive safely at its next chapter.
