The Bread and Roses Dress was designed as a garment for living in. For carrying things in your pockets. For tying on over whatever the day already became. For softness with a little practicality stitched underneath.

This particular version pairs burgundy corduroy with a shiny damask tablecloth skirt in rich rose tones, finished with a scalloped edge that catches the light beautifully. The facings, binding and neckline button detail are made from reclaimed patterned shirting, carrying small traces of another life into this one.

The damask fabric is delicate and prone to catching on rough surfaces, part of the nature of using rescued textiles with history and texture already woven into them.
